A sprawl of oak and hickory on the banks of the Tennessee River, Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park offers a scenic respite to its many visitors. The namesake of park, however, carries a much darker history.
This film explores the incongruity of America’s promised land with its ability to hide a racist past in plain sight.
